An invasive tree in South Africa with seed pods being blown around on the wind replanting itself, tree can grow to height of six to ten meters high.

Beautiful flowers in pink, red, cream or purple, flowering in the months of August to October.

Originating out of Asia and competes with our indigenous trees, was introduced into gardens for the beauty of the tree and flowers.
